Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Call Center Crisis Interventionist to provide evidence-informed crisis intervention, suicide prevention, information & referral, and brief supportive listening to individuals in emotional distress, often at high risk.

You will interact by phone, text, or chat and gain a wide range of clinical skills in behavioral and tele-mental health while making a meaningful difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
• Bilingual; Crisis Services experience preferred
• Valid Texas Driver’s License, QMHP-CS eligibility (per the description)

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention over phone, SMS, or chat
• Offer information and referral to local mental/behavioral health resources
• Deliver brief supportive listening and assess risk for suicide or self-harm
