Harrisonburg-Rockingham CSB is seeking a qualified professional to provide crisis intervention for individuals in emotional distress, by phone or in person. You will triage crises, assess adults and juveniles, and ensure prompt referrals and documentation.

The role emphasizes teamwork, HIPAA-compliant practices, and ongoing collaboration with emergency services to maintain service continuity for the community in Harrisonburg.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Human Services preferred, plus two years in MH/ID/SU setting.
• QMHP considered with appropriate related experience; license preferred or eligible.

Responsabilités

• Provide crisis intervention by phone or face-to-face.
• Prioritize crisis situations and triage as needed.
• Assess adults and juveniles in crisis (MH/SA/ID).
• Conduct preadmission screenings and documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with team and attend meetings; ensure coverage.
• Deliver information and referrals across programs.
