The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay seeks a Community Intervention Specialist to provide crisis counseling via telephone, chat, and in person as needed, linking clients to resources as they navigate challenging circumstances.

You will perform safety planning, connect to follow-up care, advocate for victims, and maintain confidential records in alignment with HIPAA and organizational policies.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in human services or crisis intervention.
• Experience in crisis intervention and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems, ability to document accurately and timely.

Responsabilidades

• Provide crisis counseling via telephone, chat, and in person as needed.
• Offer safety planning and connection to follow-up care services.
• Advocate and refer victims of crime, including sexual assault and domestic violence.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure confidentiality.
