Job summary

Interfaith Community Services is seeking a Resident Coordinator in Oceanside to maintain a safe living environment and coordinate with case managers to support client self-sufficiency. You will assist with intakes, transitions, and daily supportive activities within program policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS/First Aid certification within 3 months, and experience with vulnerable populations; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• CPR, BLS and First Aid certificates to be completed within three months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience with severely mentally ill, medically fragile, or homeless populations preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client intakes, transfers, coordination of services, and discharges.
• Acclimate new clients to living arrangements and orient them to program policies and rules.
• Monitor resident behavior and overall well-being; address concerns promptly.
• Respond to crisis situations following established protocols.
• Maintain a drug-, alcohol-, and violence-free environment per policies.
• Administer First Aid/CPR as needed and follow emergency protocols.
