Job summary

Interfaith Community Services in Oceanside is seeking a Resident Coordinator to help maintain a safe, supportive living environment for clients across programs. You will work with case managers and a multidisciplinary team to help residents regain independence.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/BLS/First Aid within 3 months, 1 year of relevant experience, knowledge of recovery fields, and bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR, BLS, and First Aid certificates to be completed within 3 months.
• Minimum 1 year experience with severely mentally ill, medically fragile, or homeless populations preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client intakes, transfers, and service coordination.
• Orient new clients to housing rules and procedures.
• Monitor resident wellbeing and address safety concerns.
• Respond to crises, de-escalate, and follow safety protocols.
• Document incidents and update daily logs.
• Support clients with appointments and transportation.
• Collaborate with team to promote a positive community.
