Job summary

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) is seeking a Residential Services Coordinator for onsite, client-facing work in San Rafael. You will orient participants, monitor safety, and support service planning within the shelter program.

The role requires strong communication, crisis resolution, and collaboration with case management, with adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards. Evening and weekend coverage may be required to ensure program integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with adults who are unhoused or with mental health/substance use challenges is a plus.
• Intermediate MS Word skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.

Responsibilities

• Check exterior of building on regular schedule to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct wellness checks to ensure security and program compliance.
• Maintain shift reports and logs per procedures.
• Orient participants to shelter rules and services.
• Refer participants to case management as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
• Ensure documentation is completed and workspace is organized at end of shift.
