Job summary
Behavioral Health Network (BHN) seeks a Co-Response Clinician to deliver community-based crisis intervention services in partnership with law enforcement, serving Western Massachusetts. You will assess and stabilize individuals experiencing urgent behavioral health needs in real time, meeting people where they are — at home, shelters, hospitals, or other community settings.
Most duties will be onsite in Springfield with a multidisciplinary team focused on timely, compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required.
- LICSW or LCSW, or LMHC eligible; licensure within 6 months of hire preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Experience in crisis intervention or mobile crisis settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver community-based crisis intervention services to youth and adults.
- Assess, stabilize, and support individuals in real-time in homes, shelters, hospitals, or community settings.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, EMS, and other providers.
- Enter documentation into relevant state databases and complete shift paperwork by day’s end.
