Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking an MCI Counselor to join the Mobile Crisis Intervention team in Western Massachusetts. You will provide compassionate crisis support, trauma-informed care, and rapid triage to individuals in distress while coordinating with clinicians and community partners.

You will document interactions, adhere to standards, and help connect clients to behavioral health and community services during high-volume crisis periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of mental health conditions and care management.
• Crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage proficiency.
• Ability to work calmly in high-volume crisis settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage crisis hotline calls following program standards.
• Provide crisis de-escalation and emotional support.
• Triaging and prioritizing mobile crisis assessments.
• Assist individuals in stabilization and referrals.
• Collaborate with clinicians and community partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance.
