Job summary

L&G Asset Management, America is seeking a skilled IT/Change analyst to collaborate with technical teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure seamless operations in the U.S. Chicago area.

You will apply deep knowledge of investment management workflows and front-office systems, including CRIMS, to minimize downtime and support compliance and risk management. The role requires at least 5 years in an investment manager or hedge fund environment, strong SQL skills, and effective communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• In-depth understanding of investment management workflows and processes.
• Knowledge of T-SQL and SQL databases with intermediate querying ability.
• Broad knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure), desktop, server and virtualization tech.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding to and resolving production incidents, investigating root causes and implementing preventive solutions.
• Provide expert-level technical support to troubleshoot complex system and application issues.
• Monitor production health and performance using monitoring tools and take proactive measures.
• Manage escalation of critical incidents to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of procedures, resolutions and configurations.
• Participate in change management and assess impact of proposed system changes.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify bottlenecks and optimizations.
• Analyze recurring incidents to identify trends and long-term improvements.
• Conduct workflow testing of CR IMS environments to replicate issues or regression test changes.
• Coordinate backlog of change work and contribute improvements from a technical perspective.
