Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Needham is seeking confident, dependable Swim Instructors to teach water safety and create a fun, positive experience for families at our 90-degree pool. You will educate children aged 4 months to 12 years using our play-based curriculum and support a safety-first learning environment.

Ideal candidates have some swim instruction or lifeguard experience, strong communication skills, and reliability. Paid training is provided, with options for ongoing growth and development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years).
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified).

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months - 12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum.
• Create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress.
• Maintain pool safety.

Goldfish Swim School is looking for confident, dependable Swim Instructors who will play a key part in advancing our mission to teach all children how to be safe in and around the water! • Job Type: Part-Time
• Pay: $17 - $19 per hour
• Hours Required: Minimum of 2 shifts/week (shift length ranging from 3-6 hrs/day)
