Job summary

Asplundh in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily crew productivity, coordinate work orders, enforce safety protocols, and mentor crew members on job sites.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, field training, and meticulous record-keeping, with a competitive hourly wage and full benefits package. You will liaise with management, customers, and contractors to ensure safe, efficient completion of line clearance tasks.

Qualifications

• Understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organization skills and ability to multitask.
• Able to adjust to field requirements and operate independently.
• Must have CDL and be able to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety trainings.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance and activities.
• Keeps tools, trucks, and equipment in good repair and organized at the work site.
• Coordinates with customers and authorities when blocking streets or driveways.
