Job summary

IHOP Lindale is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing team on shift and ensure excellent customer experiences. The role emphasizes preparing personnel, equipment, and supplies, assigning duties, and communicating clearly to drive service quality.

You will train new staff, monitor performance, adjust schedules, enforce SOPs, and handle cash deposits while upholding company standards. English proficiency and calm under pressure are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Relevant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and readiness of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet business needs.
• Assist in assigning employee duties, encourage teamwork, and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Keep team informed about new menu items, specials, and promotional materials to ensure clear understanding of food prep and service.
• Supervise employee performance and behavior, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor and review time cards daily and adjust schedules to meet restaurant needs and minimize overtime.
• Enforce portion control measures and maintain security protocols; check deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Handle cash receipts, reconcile funds, and make daily deposits.
