Job summary

Fortify Companies’ Insurcomm Restoration unit seeks a Lead Mitigation Technician to head emergency restoration projects and lead the crew on-site in Wilmington/Jacksonville, NC. You will set safety standards, guide a team, and ensure timely, standards-compliant execution of mitigation work.

You will oversee water extraction, drying, and debris removal, coordinate with the Contents Division, and document progress using PSA and other software, while maintaining clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Required: IICRC WRT certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a crew and manage job site workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mitigation crews on residential and commercial job sites.
• Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage.
• Perform and oversee water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation services per IICRC standards.
• Develop drying plans and monitor progress for proper equipment placement and moisture goals.
• Remove and dispose of damaged building materials safely and efficiently.
