Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze creditworthiness and risk for Ryder's Rental, National Rental and FMG customers. The role provides credit recommendations to local management to support sales while mitigating risk.

Responsibilities include reviewing credit lines, assessing exposure, and coordinating with sales, collections and operations. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with 2+ years in commercial credit and strong financial analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
• Two or more years in commercial credit.
• Experience in financial statement analysis preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial data and create spreads.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit requests for new customers and increased lines.
• Assist Lease analyst in initial review of lease assignments and obtain Ryder documentation.
• Review credit reports, Ryder history, and financial statements.
• Assess credit worthiness and determine exposure and action plans to reduce rentals.
• Communicate to stop loss, collections, sales and operations on high-risk accounts.
