Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze creditworthiness across Rental, National Rental and FMG segments and provide business recommendations that support sales while mitigating risk.

Responsibilities include reviewing credit reports and financials, determining credit lines, and coordinating with sales, collections and operations to manage high risk accounts. Strong Excel and credit scoring knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
• Two (2) years or more experience in commercial credit.
• Two (2) years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with sales on credit requests for new customers and increased credit lines.
• Reviews credit reports, company history, and financial statements.
• Determines credit line exposure and develops action plans to reduce risk.
• Communicates with loss, collections, sales and operations on high risk accounts.
• Verifies critical documentation and security from customers.
• Assist daily with Credit Hold Mailbox and related tasks.
