Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to assess creditworthiness for Rental, National Rental and FMG customers. You will analyze financial data, review credit reports, and recommend credit lines and risk-mitigating actions to support sales while mitigating risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
• Two (2) years or more experience in commercial credit
• Two (2) years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred

Responsibilities

• Works with Rental, National Rental, and FMG sales group on credit requests on new customers and increased credit lines for existing customers
• Assist Lease analyst in initial review of lease assignments handling preliminary credit review for assignee/assignor and obtaining Ryder documentation
• Reviews credit reports, Ryder and company history, and financial statements
• Determines credit line and action plan to reduce rentals if needed and communicates with loss, collections, sales and operations on high risk accounts
• Verify all critical documentation & security is received from customer
