Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an entry-level Accounts Receivable Clerk for a contract role in Collierville, TN. You will review customer applications in Bectran, route emails, and assist with payments and reconciliations, enabling faster onboarding and smoother cash flow.

This onsite position emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy team. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, some college in accounting or business, and experience in AR,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in accounting preferred.
• Prior AR, collections, or customer service experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Review and pull information for customer applications in Bectran daily.
• Route Credit Fax/Email to proper location to save assistants' time.
• Handle Key ACH Payments to relieve cash management pressure.
• Assist with Water Heater Credits to support credit assistants.
• Track and follow up on Priority Invoices to support AP.
• Follow up on Stale Credit Approvals to aid sales and AP.
• Request and validate Sales Tax Exemptions.
