Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a fully onsite role based in Gretna, NE. You will generate invoices, process payments, monitor aging, and ensure accurate billing in collaboration with project managers and staff.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in AR, a high school diploma (associates or bachelor’s preferred), and experience with QuickBooks. The position offers a pay range of $25.00–$27.00 per hour and a contract-to-hire path.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• High School diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Process incoming payments and apply payments to customer accounts.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and establish payment arrangements when necessary.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial and customer records within QuickBooks.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Work closely with project managers and office staff to ensure billing accuracy.
• Prepare accounts receivable reports for management review.
• Support additional accounting and administrative functions as needed.
