United Rentals in the United States is seeking a Credit Associate to manage credit support processes, including lien releases, new accounts, and pre-lien notifications for customers and field operations.

In this role you will process credit applications, upload to the credit system, prepare notices, and review insurance certificates while providing essential administrative support to the department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and customer focus.
• Work collaboratively within team and cross-functionally to achieve goals but also independently.
• Accurate and detail oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process new customer credit applications including accessing credit agency data and collecting references to open new accounts.
• Upload completed applications to appropriate credit system.
• Process requests for lien releases (waivers) and communicate with submitter (customer or field operations).
• Document lien releases in the credit system.
• Prepare preliminary notices (notice of intent) per state laws and procedures.
• Prepare spreadsheets for pricing and field operations to connect customer data.
• Review customer certificate of insurance for rental protection and update systems.
• Assist in providing departmental administrative support.
• Other duties as needed.
