Job summary

HD Supply Management, LLC is seeking an experienced Credit and Collections Supervisor to oversee all aspects of credit and collections in an in-office environment with partial remote flexibility.

The role involves reviewing credit applications, coordinating collections, and mentoring staff, with emphasis on AR aging, dispute resolution, and maintaining accurate account documentation to support risk management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• May require certification.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves credit applications.
• Prepares credit reports as directed.
• Persuades customers to pay amount due on credit account, damage claim, or non-payable check, or negotiate extension of credit.
• Reports status of accounts and contracts regularly.
• Prepares legal documents as needed.
• Interviews, selects and trains staff.
• Ensures associates have the tools and training necessary to do the job.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
