Job summary

Evertec is seeking a Claims Specialist to manage disputed credit card transactions, perform investigations, and resolve chargebacks while maintaining a high level of customer service. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

You will process disputes, debit merchant accounts for resolved chargebacks, and provide merchants with documentation supporting the debit.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of claims management and customer service experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer care with a client service mindset.
• Evaluate disputed credit card transactions and determine legitimacy of chargebacks.
• Investigate disputes and process chargebacks where appropriate.
• Debit commercial accounts for resolved merchant chargebacks.
• Perform reconciliations and provide supporting documentation to merchants.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
