Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive credit analysis experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in commercial financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling.
• Knowledge of borrowing base, advance rates, and collateral criteria.

Responsibilities

• Specialty Credit Underwriting: analyze and underwrite complex lending transactions.
• Collateral and Repayment Assessment: evaluate non-traditional collateral and repayment structures.
• Asset-Based Lending Analysis: build borrowing base calculations and collateral eligibility.
• Litigation Finance Risk Evaluation: assess case merits and timelines.
• Fund Finance and Leveraged Lending: evaluate sponsor experience and exit strategies.
• Credit Reporting and Presentations: prepare detailed credit materials for committees.
• Complex Transaction Structuring: analyze multi-entity borrowers and SPVs.
• Mentorship and Technical Guidance: support junior analysts.
• Market and Regulatory Monitoring: track changes affecting specialty lending.
• Risk Management and Compliance: align with policies and banking laws.
