Overview

East West Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and oversee loan/deposit portfolio for relationship manager/team.
  2. Review existing credits with the team.
  3. Perform administrative duties required for maintaining a portfolio of clients.
  4. Ensure portfolio administration and risk management are in compliance with EWB credit policies, procedures, business strategy, and regulatory guidelines.
  5. Co-manage commercial relationships by analyzing financial data to assess loan requests, recommend structures, and manage client relationships, as appropriate to experience.
  6. Be responsible for credit risk and the quality of the portfolio.
  7. Assist with due diligence and analysis on new client relationships and opportunity memos.
  8. Partner with the Relationship Manager as the primary contact for the client; liaising with the Credit Department, support staff, and other internal partners.
  9. Provide advice to clients regarding business environment trends, capital markets, and banking trends, as appropriate.
  10. Monitor loan repayments and financial condition of clients; take necessary actions for collections and ongoing repayment assessments. May assume overall responsibility for credit quality.
  11. Participate in the bank's Loan Approval Process by making presentations on specific loans and recommending approval and structuring.
  12. Manage the renewal process in collaboration with the Relationship Manager, client, and Credit Department.
  13. Act as a contact for non-borrowing accounts and loan clients regarding banking services.
  14. Participate in community and business functions to promote a positive bank image.
  15. Perform other duties and projects as needed.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Ideally 2+ years of banking experience.
  3. Experience with commercial real estate loans and understanding of the gaming industry.
  4. Strong underwriting and projection skills.
  5. Understanding of credit policies and procedures, with the ability to risk-rate loans accurately, evaluating cash flow and collateral.
  6. Capability to develop problem loan solutions.
  7. Knowledge of Treasury, FX, and Derivative products, with demonstrated ability to coordinate bank resources for comprehensive solutions.
Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr. Exact offers will depend on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
