Qualifications

• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
• Ten-key by touch with accurate numeric entry.
• Familiarity with hot key based systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Process the Bad Debt File: Bad Debts and Bad Debt Recovery Write-offs.
• Handle requests from the collection agency including checks and invoices.
• Process Lockbox and Telecheck NSF/Returned Checks and Telecheck invoices.
• Run Credit Card Payments as needed.
• Process Check Copy Requests and AR Refund Packages for customers.
• Print and process daily bank correspondence files.
• Process W9 requests, bankruptcy/tax certificates and related forms.
• Process credit references and credit memos from corporate reps.
• Assist auditors and respond to requests.
• Maintain credit department files and offsite storage.
• Process yearly property tax invoices.
• Assist credit representatives in payment allocation tracing.
• Process adjustment batches in AR Manager as needed.
• Handle mail-outs of returned mail to locations.
• Process edits on invoices for updated PO numbers.
• Update customer files for changes on approved forms.
• Create new customer accounts including contract and fee records.
• Support credit team in account reconciliation.
