Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to independently manage credentialing applications for initial appointment and reappointment, including primary source verification and status tracking.

You will analyze verification data for accuracy, identify potential compliance risks, and maintain audit-ready electronic files in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with CVO and MSO leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of healthcare administration, credentialing, provider enrollment or related experience; 2-4 years in a hospital MSO or CVO environment preferred.
• NAMSS CPCS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages credentialing applications for initial appointment and reappointment, including intake, validation, primary source verification, analysis, and status management.
• Conducts primary source verification and evaluates data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Identifies red flags or inconsistencies and escalates to CVO leadership with sound professional judgement.
• Maintains audit-ready electronic credentialing files with data integrity and documentation quality.
• Ensures timely file completion according to turnaround time and service level standards.
• Prepares credentialing files for internal quality review and submission to hospitals.
