Job summary

Jewish Child Care Association (JCCA) seeks a Credentialing Specialist to join our Human Resources team in New York. You will coordinate credentialing and enrollment for clinical practitioners, ensuring onboarding and compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.

Collaborating with the Managed Care Supervisor, onboarding staff, providers, and external vendors, you will monitor licenses, renewals, and documentation while maintaining accurate records and protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare provider credentialing, enrollment, and accreditation principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with HR and clinical teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage credentialing and enrollment data in systems such as CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and MMIS.
• Coordinate credentialing and re-credentialing activities ensuring timely submissions.
• Monitor licenses, DEA registrations, and board certifications and track expirations.
• Review provider files for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to HRBP and Managed Care Supervisor.
• Collaborate with providers, supervisors, and external vendors for timely onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidential provider information.
• Perform other credentialing-related duties as assigned.
