Job summary

JCCA in New York is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our Human Resources team. You will coordinate credentialing and enrollment for clinical practitioners, ensuring timely onboarding and compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.

With a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of credentialing or healthcare enrollment experience, you will manage CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and other systems, maintain records, and protect confidential provider information.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare provider credentialing, enrollment, and accreditation principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing and enrollment data in systems (CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, MMIS).
• Monitor licenses, DEA registrations, and board certifications for timely renewals.
• Review provider files for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to HRBP and Managed Care Supervisor.
• Collaborate with providers and external vendors to support onboarding timelines.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidential provider information.
• Support other credentialing-related duties as assigned.
