Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Category Creator Specialist to join the US ecommerce operations team. You will drive growth for TikTok Shop merchants by branding, creator engagement, and content programs, partnering with Category Managers and top merchants to tailor strategies and activate creators.

You will recruit creators, develop briefs, manage samples, and monitor creator content and performance data to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience in influencer or creator marketing, digital marketing, or category management in E-commerce.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a growth mindset.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience partnering with brands or commerce platforms to execute, optimize, or scale influencer and affiliate programs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Category Managers and top merchants to understand content & commercial strategy; design content programs and activate creators for best merchant results.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive creator marketing strategy aligned with reach, engagement, and conversion goals.
• Recruit creators who align with merchants' values, audience, and products.
• Develop creator briefing templates and materials to accelerate production.
• Manage creator sampling end-to-end, and measure/optimize availability, speed, and conversion.
• Own creator-facing engagements for merchants and work with Category Managers to resolve issues; scale processes as business grows.
• Monitor and analyze creator-generated content and performance data to build best-practice models for content mix and optimization.
• Maintain a pulse on popular products and current ecommerce tactics within relevant categories.
• Collaborate with TikTok Creator teams to share best practices and opportunities.
