Job summary

King & Partners is seeking a Creative Resource Manager to oversee day-to-day staffing for the Creative department in New York. You will ensure projects are staffed with the right people at the right time, balancing workloads and maintaining high utilization without compromising quality.

This role reports to the CCO, CEO, and COO and requires strong organizational and communication skills to proactively address resource challenges in a fast-moving agency environment.

Qualifications

• Agency experience and ability to lead project teams.
• Proven track record with luxury/real estate/hospitality brands.
• Excellent organization and communication.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization.
• Self-motivated, proactive and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day resource management of all Creative team members (designers, art directors, copywriters, creative directors, motion designers, UX/UI designers, strategists, and freelancers).
• Conduct regular check-ins to assess workload, capacity, challenges, and development opportunities.
• Understand strengths, interests, and growth areas of team members.
• Review timesheet data and adjust staffing plans accordingly.
• Develop short- and long-term staffing plans across active projects and retainers.
• Balance workloads to maximize utilization while sustaining capacity.
• Identify upcoming gaps and recommend hires or schedule changes.
• Manage the agency’s freelance network, onboarding, assignment, and performance monitoring.
• Participate in recruiting for full-time hires and assess team fit.
• Support onboarding to integrate new members into active work.
