Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a talented Proposal Coordinator to help us bring our projects and people to life through compelling proposals and marketing materials. You’ll be responsible for coordinating pursuits, editing copy, and ensuring brand consistency.

The role emphasizes design/layout, persuasive writing, teamwork, and learning construction industry lingo, with a focus on delivering high-quality documents on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business or related field or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in proposal and presentation planning and coordination, page layout, drafting tailored proposal content, graphics development, and editing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with emphasis on superior persuasive writing and presentation ability.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS Office, especially PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pursuits: team coordination, messaging, formatting, proofreading, and brand adherence.
• Develop content for proposals and collateral under supervision.
• Support action planning and progress tracking.
• Research qualification content, resumes, and competitor information.
• Provide marketing support with brochures and presentations.
