Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Rogers, AR is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan and host kids' birthday parties and in-store events, delivering a fun, creative experience while guiding guests through craft activities and store services.

You will support customer experience, assist shoppers, process checkouts, enroll guests in Rewards programs, and help with BOPIS/SFS processes while keeping the store clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in crafts and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Answer emails, make calls, and handle paperwork as needed.
• Adjust plans based on feedback and ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety during events and setup/breakdown.
