Job summary

Michaels Little Rock is seeking an energetic team member to coordinate store events, including children’s parties, and to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will assist customers, handle checkout, and support BOPIS/SFS processes while helping with stocking and planograms.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, strong communication, and organizational skills, and enjoy working with people of all ages in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic personality with ability to handle job stress.
• Experience working with children and children’s events is preferred.
• Must have excellent people skills and strong communication (spoken, written, nonverbal) and listening abilities.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with creative problem-solving.
• Retail or customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events at the Michaels store, including children’s parties and craft classes.
• Assist customers, help them locate products, and provide solutions for their shopping needs.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and provide fast checkout experiences.
• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, manage planograms, and maintain store recovery standards.
• Communicate with clients and store team members; handle emails and calls as needed.
