Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an in-store Event Coordinator in Texas to plan and run customer events, including children's parties, and to provide friendly service throughout the shopping experience.

You will support checkout, answer emails, and coordinate with store teams to ensure events run smoothly. Responsibilities include engaging guests of all ages, instructing craft projects, and implementing add-ons while maintaining store standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and children’s events.
• Excellent people skills and communication.
• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events in-store (including children’s parties).
• Assist customers and guide them to products and services.
• Enrol customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards and support SOPs.
