Job summary

Michaels Monroe is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties, while delivering a fun and creative customer experience. You will assist customers, manage checkout flow, and support store operations from setup to wrap-up.

The role emphasizes engagement with guests of all ages and proper handling of event logistics. Team members participate in store activities, improve planograms, and support Omni-Channel processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities; perform face painting as needed.
• Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks such as emails, calls, and paperwork.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs and create backup plans when needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction and uphold store cleanliness and safety standards.
