Michaels is seeking an energetic events coordinator to plan and run engaging in-store events, including children’s parties, while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will guide participants, collaborate with store teams, and manage logistics from setup to post-event wrap-up.

The role involves assisting customers, promoting rewards programs, and supporting omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS, with focus on safety and standards across a large retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment.
• Provide instructions during crafts and manage party add-ons.
• Coordinate communications with clients and store team members.
• Handle emails, phone calls and paperwork as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards, and SOP adherence.
• Assist customers in locating products and solutions; ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Promote Rewards program enrollments and private label card sign-ups.
• Support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in stock, planogram and restock tasks.
