Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking an energetic events and customer experience coordinator to plan and run in-store events such as children's birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage customers, assist with checkout, and ensure a fun, safe environment while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, teaching craft activities, handling inquiries, and supporting omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS). Prior retail or youth events experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events (birthdays, classes) within the Michaels store.
• Engage customers of all ages with a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate crafts, assist with face painting and activities.
• Coordinate add-ons (goody bags, balloons) per standards.
• Handle emails, calls, and paperwork; support store operations.
