Job summary

Michaels is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including kids' parties and classes. You will engage guests, teach craft activities, and manage event add-ons while supporting fast, friendly checkout and rewards enrollments.

The role requires strong people skills, organization, and experience in retail or customer service. You will work onsite, collaborating with store teams to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s parties and classes.
• Engage guests of all ages with a fun, creative environment.
• Instruct participants in craft projects and lead activities.
• Handle event add-ons (goody bags, balloons) per standards.
• Assist with checkout, customer service, and rewards enrollments.
• Communicate event details to clients and store team members.
• Perform general store duties and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
