Job summary

Michaels is seeking a driven events-focused team member to coordinate in-store events, including children’s parties, and to deliver a friendly, efficient shopping experience. You will guide guests, assist with purchases, and support store operations.

Responsibilities include planning events, managing client communications, promoting rewards programs, and ensuring cleanliness and safety. The role requires energy, creativity, and strong people skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience planning and coordinating events, preferably in a retail setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guests of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events in-store (children’s parties and classes).
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Assist customers, process transactions, and promote store programs (Rewards, Private Label Credit Card).
• Maintain store cleanliness, stock, and safety standards.
• Handle administrative tasks and coordinate with store team for events.
