Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in New York seeks a Property Manager (CRE) to oversee a portfolio for a client, ensuring compliance with management agreements and delivering on leasing administration, collections oversight, and vendor coordination.

You will lead property staff, prepare operating and capital budgets, conduct regular inspections, and collaborate with leasing teams to align objectives with client goals while maintaining strong tenant relationships and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of real estate property management or related experience required.
• CPM, RPA, or CSM designation or in process; real estate license advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage lease administration duties and ensure compliance with management agreements.
• Monitor rent collections and coordinate default proceedings as needed.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; oversee CAM reconciliations.
• Bid and manage vendor contracts in line with requirements.
• Coordinate construction work with tenants and external teams; ensure timely completion.
• Provide leadership to property staff and maintain client relationships.
