Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Property Manager (CRE) to manage a portfolio and fulfill duties under the management agreement. You will oversee lease administration, collections, and compliance, while leading property staff and coordinating with clients and vendors.

The role requires 3+ years in real estate property management, a related bachelor’s degree, and professional designations such as CPM/RPA/CSM or progress toward them. Strong financial and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of real estate property management or related experience.
• CPM, RPA, or CSM designation or in process; real estate license.
• Strong knowledge of finance and building operations.
• Ability to manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors; negotiate lease language.

Responsibilities

• Manage lease administration duties.
• Monitor collections and coordinate default proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with policies, codes, regulations, and directives.
• Provide leadership to property staff, including hiring and performance management.
• Develop annual inspection process and conduct required inspections.
• Develop operating budgets, track variances, oversee CAM reconciliations, and manage recoveries.
• Bid, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts per requirements.
• Abstract leases in lease administration software.
• Coordinate with owners and accounting to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Oversee tenant and building construction work to meet client goals.
• Participate in leasing and client meetings and ensure communication across teams.
• Foster positive relationships with tenants and external/internal clients.
