Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Property Manager (CRE) to oversee the operation and administration of client properties. You will manage leases, monitor collections, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead property staff to meet service levels and financial targets.

In this role you will develop budgets, coordinate CAM reconciliations, oversee construction and vendor contracts, and foster strong relationships with tenants and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline preferred.
• CPM, RPA, or CSM designation or in process.
• Possess real estate license.
• Strong knowledge of finance and building operations.
• Ability to analyze, prioritize and delegate.
• Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including employees and vendors.
• Experience analyzing and negotiating commercial lease/contract language.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of a property (or group of properties) for a client and fulfilling the manager’s obligations under the terms of the property’s management agreement.
• Monitor collections and coordinate default proceedings; ensure compliance with policies, procedures, codes and directives.
• Provide management and leadership to property staff, including hiring and performance management.
• Develop comprehensive annual inspection process for properties and complete inspections as required.
• Develop operating and capital budgets, track variances, oversee CAM reconciliations and ensure smooth recovery.
• Bid, negotiate and manage vendor contracts per contract requirements.
• Abstract leases in lease administration software and maintain interface with owners and accounting.
• Coordinate construction work and ensure timely completion; participate in leasing/client meetings.
• Foster positive relationships with tenants, external clients and internal teams.
