Job summary

Frost Bank seeks a Commercial Real Estate Support Specialist in Texas to assist CRE loan portfolio management and reporting. You will support Relationship Managers with data gathering, loan monitoring, and covenant compliance while delivering top-tier service.

The role requires a business degree and 2+ years in commercial banking or portfolio management, plus strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial banking or portfolio management.
• Completion of Frost’s Financial Services University training.
• Ability to assess and understand credit risk and loan structures.
• Record of high-quality underwriting work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general portfolio management of CRE loans and construction draws.
• Analyze borrower financials, property performance, and market trends to maintain risk ratings.
• Serve as CRE SME to bankers on owner-occupied construction, acquisitions, and refinancing from review to closing.
• Gather financial data from customers and documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to deliver strong client experiences.
• Produce internal reports for quarterly reviews and portfolio health assessments.
• Monitor loan performance and covenant compliance, identify emerging risks or opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with internal partners and stay informed on loan policies and products.
