Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Support Specialist to perform administrative duties and portfolio management for a CRE loan portfolio. You will assist with loan monitoring, draw processing, and risk assessments, supporting Relationship Managers and cross‑team collaboration.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Business (Accounting/Finance), 2+ years in commercial banking or portfolio management, and completion of Frost’s Financial Services University training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial banking or portfolio management.
• Completion of Frost’s Financial Services University training.
• Ability to assess and understand credit risk and loan structures.
• Record of high-quality underwriting work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general portfolio management of commercial real estate loans, monitoring loan agreements and processing construction draws to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze borrower financials, property performance, lease‑up progress, construction milestones, and market trends to maintain accurate risk ratings and portfolio quality.
• Communicate with customers to gather financial information and documentation as needed.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver excellent client experiences and facilitate smooth communication across teams, including syndicated loan relationships.
• Produce internal reports for quarterly reviews and ongoing portfolio health assessments.
• Monitor loan performance, covenant compliance, and proactively identify emerging risks or opportunities within the CRE portfolio.
• Develop and sustain strong working relationships with internal business partners, staying informed on loan policy updates and the Bank’s current products and services.
