BJ’s Wholesale Club in Sarasota is seeking a Meat Cutter - Butcher to receive, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including grinds. You will assist in meat, seafood, and deli areas and help with special cuts upon request.

The role requires completing a training program, prior meat cutting experience, and familiarity with wrapping machines. You must be 18 or older and able to work in a cooler environment with lifting up to 30 pounds.

Formación

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains meat department inventory and ensures cases are stocked.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas in the meat department.
