Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter in our meat department. You will cut, grind, wrap, and label fresh and prepared meats, assist with seafood and deli items, and ensure proper sanitation and display standards. The role requires apprenticeship or training, prior meat cutting experience, and familiarity with wrapping machines.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship is required.
• Previous meat cutting experience is required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations on meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, wraps, weighs and labels meat and seafood to company standards.
• Maintains inventory levels and sanitation in the meat department.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports club policies.
