Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a meat department team member to support Members with expert product knowledge and high-quality service. The role involves cutting, grinding, weighing, wrapping, and labeling fresh and prepared meats while maintaining sanitation standards.

You will help maintain inventory, assist with pricing and merchandising, and collaborate with the team to ensure a safe, friendly, and efficient shopping environment. Must be at least 18 and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat products.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards; weighs, packages, and labels.
• Maintains inventory in the meat department and ensures proper rotation.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment and display fixtures in the meat area.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments.
