Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Sarasota, FL is seeking team members for our Meat department. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, assist in deli and seafood areas, and help members with meat selections.

We require a training program or apprenticeship and prior meat-cutting experience; you must be at least 18 years old. We offer weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities with a national retailer.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses and deli sections.
• Assists in meat selection and prepares special meat arrangements for Members.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
