Job summary

Michaels in Charlotte/NorthLake is hiring for an Event Coordinator role to plan and manage in-store events, including children’s parties, and to deliver friendly customer service. You will engage guests, assist with product selection, enroll customers in rewards programs, and support event setup and safety procedures.

The role requires energy, strong communication, and experience with children’s events, with duties spanning planning, execution, and store-wide collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events (children’s parties, crafts) within the Michaels store.
• Engage customers and guests, help them shop and enroll in rewards and private label programs.
• Demonstrate crafts and supervise activities; assist with add-ons and party enhancements.
• Handle administrative tasks: emails, calls, paperwork; ensure safety and cleanliness.
