Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a CRA Loan Officer to identify and develop a quality referral network for mortgage lending opportunities. You will interview customers, explain products, and gather information to complete mortgage applications while meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining CRA-eligible business, conducting homebuyer seminars, and coordinating with LMI branches and the Community Development Market team to drive referrals and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication across diverse audiences.
• Strong computer skills and laptop use experience.
• SAFE Act pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CRA-eligible business and generate mortgage preapprovals monthly.
• Build relationships with local referral networks and conduct community seminars.
• Meet sales goals while ensuring mortgage applications are complete and compliant.
• Collaborate with Community Development Market in CRA-related events and outreach.
• Engage in board or committee work for nonprofits when possible.
