Job summary

Citizens is hiring dedicated Mortgage Loan Officers who proactively identify, build and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities. You will interview customers to determine loan needs and advise on products, terms and pricing.

Role focuses on generating mortgage applications, meeting sales goals, and developing relationships with realtors and local contacts while contributing to overall branch success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales preferred
• Two plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across a broad range of audiences

Responsibilities

• Interview new and existing customers to determine their loan needs
• Advise customers on appropriate products, terms, and pricing
• Generate complete mortgage applications while following policies
• Meet sales goals and referral targets
• Build and maintain a quality network of business relationships
